Coach Dunga has yet to decide who will replace Adriano up front for Brazil’s game against Colombia on 15th October in the Maracanã.
The Inter Milan player scored in the 4-0 win over Venezuela on Sunday but is suspended for the Colombia clash.
AC Milan’s, Alexandre Pato, or Manchester City’s, Jô, are favourites to get the nod.
Pato, 19, has made three senior appearances and scored once in a friendly vs Sweden. Jô, 21, has two full caps.
As well as the absence of Adriano, Brazil will be without Luis Fabiano and Julio Baptista who are injured, plus the suspended pair of Luisão and Diego.
