Everton eye the gladiator

EPL side Everton are reportedly interested in Palmeiras forward, Kléber. Everton are expected to have scouts in the Palestra Itália on Sunday for Palmeiras’ crucial meeting with Botafogo.
Palmeiras claim to want to extend Kléber’s loan period at the club but may not be able to meet Dynamo Kiev’s financial demands.
Another possible destination for Kléber is Brazil’s Internacional who have just won the Copa Sul-Americana.
Kléber picked up the nickname of gladiator because of his combative style. However, his rather robust approach has earned him a stack of suspensions in Brazil. Brazilian officials are overly liberal with cautions. And as three yellow cards leads to an automatic suspension, Kléber has missed more than his fair share of this year’s Brasileiro. The forward has also been in trouble after being caught on camera elbowing São Paulo’s André Dias during the Campeonato Paulista and for several other unrestrained challenges.
