Elano future uncertain at Manchester City

Elano had a hand in two of Brazil's goals vs Uruguay
Brazil midfielder, Elano, has spoken about a possible move way from Manchester City if his situation does not improve at the club.
While Elano has appeared in 20 out of 30 matches for Brazil coach, Dunga, the former Santos man feels he has been marginalized by City coach, Mark Hughes. Now the 27-year-old is desperate to find out where he stands. “I had a meeting with the board and I asked about the signings they are going to make and whether there was still a place for me in the set up. I just asked them to be straight with me. If I can renew my contract now, I’ll stay. If not, I want to leave and look for another club. There are a number of things happening but now’s not the moment to talk about this [because] I’m focussed on Brazil”.
The defensive midfielder played a big part in Brazil’s 4-0 thrashing of Uruguay setting up goals for Juan and Luís Fabiano.

Elano has a lot to give as a young player. His free kicks are as precise as dangerous. Any team that ever has him makes a pretty good deal. Such a player will improve day by day. Let us hope that he will not be wounded before the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
Let us take a closer look at him as the days go by. I wish him all the luck.
