Lulinha gets a chance to restart his career
Corinthians have loaned out Lulinha to Portuguese club Estoril. The 19-year-old is expected to stay in Europe for around ten months.
Lulinha made his debut for Corinthians in 2007 were his reputation was so big that many Corinthians fans were already hailing him as the saviour of the club. That didn’t happen and Corinthians went down at the end of 2007 with Lulinha regularly booed by many in the Pacaembu. Since then, the attacking midfielder has rarely featured in the first team and failed to make an impression in Corinthians spell in Série B. Even when the Parque São Jorge side put out reserve sides in the league during their Copa do Brasil run this season, Lulinha was more often than not on the bench. The move to Estoril is exactly the right thing for the teenager who needs to be given a regular place in a starting line up to see if he can really live up to all his potential.

Dentinho showed Lulinha love today w/ his spectacular goal vs. Vitoria. I still think Lulinha has a lot left. I don’t know how his attitude is, but the boy has talent that is one thing for sure.
