Paris Saint Germain eye Rodrigo Souto

French club PSG are believed to have offered around €4.5 million for Santos’ defensive midfielder, Rodrigo Souto.
Since signing from Figueirense in 2006, the 26-year-old has played 170 games and scored 11 goals for the Vila Belmiro club.
Hugely underrated in Brazil, the player is one of the most effective in the country at winning the ball and making the quick smart pass. Souto is not a headline grabber and his playing style could best be described as quietly efficient. But for my money, Souto is one of the best midfielders currently operating in Brazil and I’ll be sorry to see him go if indeed he does make the move to France.

looks like he’s about to make a swap deal with São Paulo with Arouca moving to the Vila Belmiro – great signing for the Morumbi club and a good stage for Souto to prove what he can do
