Is a move to Chelsea on the cards for Neymar?

Santos and Brazil star, Neymar, could soon be on his way to Chelsea according to the player’s agent. On Friday, Wagner Ribeiro confirmed that he and Neymar’s father, Neymar dos Santos Silva, met with the London club’s representatives in the USA earlier this week and the agent believes the move to London is the right one. “In terms of his career, and of course, finances, the best option for Neymar is to accept the English [club’s] offer, said Ribeiro.

The agent added that Chelsea’s bid of around €30 million (£24.5 million) is the best offer that Santos can expect to get in the current economic climate. If a deal does go through, the cash will be split between the Vila Belmiro side who own 60% of the player’s economic rights and the DIS investment group who own the rest.
