According to agent Rodrigo Pitta, both Manchester United and Barcelona have made inquiries about Flamengo and Brazil Under 17 player Adryan.
“Clubs from England & Spain have spoken to us a lot. They want us to go there to talk. But we haven’t got the right. If they’re interested, they have to make a bid. If they come up with a good offer, it will be down to Flamengo. We’ve already talked about a [career plan] with Adryan, his family and Flamengo. He wants to be the future number ten at the club but this is some way off. He’s still a kid. He’s only 16”
In April this year, the teenager was invited to train at Old Trafford. After performing well in the Under-17 World Cup in Mexico with Brazil, the  interest increased and there is talk that a club may could sign him now and leave him at Fla until he’s 18.
The midfielder has a contract with the Rio side until 2014. Any transfer within Brazil would be for around €9 million. The figure rises to €13 million if he moves abroad. Flamengo own 80% of Adyran’s economic rights. The rest are divided between his father, Antônio, and the player’s agent.
The teenager has made one professional appearance for Flamengo in a friendly against Londrina earlier this year. He was also on the bench last weekend against Ceará in the Brasileirão (national league).
