Brazil take on Germany in an international friendly in Stuttgart later today. The match will mark a year in charge for Brazil coach Mano Menezes. The coach is under growing pressure after Brazil failed miserably in the recent Copa America in Argentina. With Menezes in charge, Brazil have yet to beat any of the world’s big names having lost to Argentina and France, and drew with the Netherlands.
Brazil are without the suspended Lucas Leiva. Maicon turned up late to the training camp and loses his place. Dani Alves and Corinthians Ralf (debut) are expected to come in.
Germany (possible): Neuer, Höwedes, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Götze, Müller, Podolski, Gómez.
Coach: Joachim Löw
Brazil (probable): Julio César, Daniel Alves, Lúcio, Thiago Silva, André Santos, Ralf, Ramires, Paulo Henrique Ganso, Robinho, Neymar, Alexandre Pato
Coach: Mano Menezes
Date: 10 August 2011
Kickoff: 1545 (Brasilia) 1945 (London)
Venue: Mercedes Benz Arena, Stuttgart
