Brazil have called up 24 players for the international friendlies versus Ghana on September 5that Fulham’s Craven Cottage. Under pressure coach, Mano Menezes, has recalled Ronaldinho Gaúcho after an absence of nine months from the national team. The forward was in danger of missing Flamengo’s crucial league match against Corinthians on Septmeber 7th. But the Brazilian Football Confederation have already said that players involved in the Brazil game will be free to return and play for their clubs.
Also back are Real Maris leftback, Marcelo, Porto forward, Hulk, and Internacional striker, Leandro Damião. Santos (Porto owned) rightback/midfielder, Danilo, who’s currently with the Under-20s in Colombia, gets his first call up. Out go Fenerbahçe’s André Santos, Fred of Fluminense, and Chelsea’s Ramires.
Menezes is in need of a convincing win. In his first year in charge of Brazil, the coach has yet to beat a side that may challenge his team in the World Cup in 2014. The South Americans have lost to France, Argentina and Germany and have drawn with the Netherlands. Brazil also failed to perform in the Copa America in July going out to Paraguay on penalties in the quarter-finals.

Should’ve had in Maicon for Alves, Santos for Adriano, Nilmar for Damiáo, Ramires for Ralf and Douglas Costa for Gustavo or Elias!
But a great squad anyway… So many great players to choose from!

Every team has equal chances of winning the next European soccer championship. There are good teams and teams which are not so good. But… you don’t know how lucky they are. Anyway

Where is Kaka… What is the problem between Manazes and Kaka, that he has refused to call Kaka back to the national team since last years world cup in South Africa. Kaka is still one player that can make the difference in that midfield and iniates passes that can lead to goals. Kaka is more of a national team player than a clubside player. I see kak combining very well with the likes of Neymer, Robinho and the likes to make the difference because he is very creative. This present Brazil’s squad lacks a leader in that team right now, Kaka can fit in very well in this role.
Also, this present Brazil squad has lost the flare of Brazillian soccer that we use to know and see. Brazillian foootball is drastically going down and something need to be done bring back the glory of Brazillian soccer. Brazil should invite the last under 20 winning team in Clombia to take their place in the national team. There are a lot of talented young players in that squad and these boys are hungry to make Brazil proud any day if given the opportunity. Also, there were some very good players in the under 20 squad that lost to Ghanna via penalty shoot out in the finals 2009. Where are those players today? Thank God for players like Neymer, young and talented, but he cannot do it alone, he also needs other hungry and talented players like him to bring back the glory of Brazillian’s soccer.
I am a Nigerian and not a Brazillian. But I like Brazillian soccer more than any other soccer in the world. Brazil has produced a lot of stars that have always make me pround.Stars like Romario, Bebeto, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldingho, Kaka, Roberto Carlus, Dunga, Cafu, Lucio, Maicom and Robinho.
I want Brazil to go back to the first position they have always been known for.

It is great to see the king of the freertyle back to samba’s squad. Millions of people are looking forwad to seeing you Ronaldinho. We all hope you will do on your best to beat Ghana as Brazil did in world cup 2006. I am cambodian. I like Brazil the best. My favorite star is Kaka. Though Kaka is not this squad, I feel not regret. Because it was coach’s decision. I hope Kaka will be called as Ronaldinho.

I think that Ronaldinho10 today is very important to Brazil’s team because he has a lot of experience of what do and what don’t do in the life. He will pass a lot of experience to the more young people in Brazil’s team like Neymar and Lucas and It is very important that Neymar and Lucas enjoy this moment because I think that in 2014 Ronaldinho will not play in the world cup. He will do like Beckham did with the English team in 2010 (South Africa’s world cup). I think that he can be used in London-2012 if he continues playing like now. He was a fantastic player, but now he isn’t the same. He is 31 years and all that he could do he did. I don’t believe more that he will play like before, however I wish him good lucky. I think that the best of Brazil now is:
Goalkeeper: Julio César (Inter Milan)
Wingbacks: Daniel Alves (Barcelona) and Marcelo (Real M.)
Centre backs: Thiago Silva (A.C. Milan) and David Luiz (Chelsea)
Midfielders: Lucas Leiva (Liverpool) and Ramires (Chelsea) or Hernanes (Lazio)
Paulo Henrique Ganso (Santos)
Forwards: Leandro Damião (Inter- RS), Neymar (Santos) and Robinho (Ac Milan)
