Brazil take on Ghana at Fulham’s Craven Cottage today with a side packed with plenty of attacking options. Paulo Henrique Ganso, Neymar, Leandro Damião and Ronaldinho Gaúcho are all expected to start. The Flamengo man has been in form for his club side but this will be the 31-year-old’s first run out for Brazil since the defeat to Argentina in November 2010, in Qatar.
Coach Mano Menezes is under pressure after Brazil’s weak performance in the Copa America and the 3-2 defeat to Germany last month.
Brazil’s next outing will be against old enemies Argentina in Belém on 28 September.
Brazil (probable): Julio César, Daniel Alves, Lúcio, Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Lucas Leiva, Fernandinho, Paulo Henrique Ganso, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Neymar, Leandro Damião
Coach: Mano Menezes
Ghana (possible): Kwarasey, Paintsil, Mensah, Vorsah, Opare, Boateng, Agyemang-Badu, Adiyiah, Ayew, Muntari, Tagoe
Coach: Goran Stevanovic
Date: 5 September 2011
Kickoff: 19:45 (London) 15:45 (Brasilia)
Venue: Craven Cottage, London
Official: Mike Dean (England)
