Brazil take on Argentina later today in the first game in the Copa Roca in Cordoba. With both squads limited to ‘home-based’ players, there are some new faces in the Brazil line-up. Coach Mano Menezes hands a debut to Flamengo’s 33-year-old midfielder, Renato Abreu. Corinthians’ defensive midfielders, Ralf and Paulinho, also come in. Vasco’s highly-rated centreback, Dedé, is paired with Atlético Mineiro’s, Réver, at the back.
The return game in the ‘Superclássico das Américas’ will be on the 28th of this month in the estádio Mangueirão in Belém.
