Brazil take on Argentina later today in the first game in the Copa Roca in Cordoba. With both squads limited to ‘home-based’ players, there are some new faces in the Brazil line-up. Coach Mano Menezes hands a debut to Flamengo’s 33-year-old midfielder, Renato Abreu. Corinthians’ defensive midfielders, Ralf and Paulinho, also come in. Vasco’s highly-rated centreback, Dedé, is paired with Atlético Mineiro’s, Réver, at the back.
The return game in the ‘Superclássico das Américas’ will be on the 28^th of this month in the estádio Mangueirão in Belém.
