Brazil take on Denmark tomorrow in the Imtech Arena in Hamburg. The match is the first of four friendlies as Mano Menezes prepares his side for the London Olympics. Missing are the Santos trio of Neymar, Rafael and Paulo Henrique Ganso (who’s set to undergo minor surgery) who were in action for their club in the Libertadores. Chelsea defender, David Luiz, also dropped out because of a thigh strain. Neto, Bruno Uvini, Alex Sandro, Rafael Casemiro, Wellington Nem, Giuliano and Alexandre Pato will sit on the bench.
Brazil are next in action versus the USA in Washington on 30th May. They then take on Mexico in Dallas on 3rd June and Argentina in New Jersey on June 9th. The squad is based around Brazil’s Under-23 players that are eligible to play in the London Olympics later this year.
