Mano Menezes has finally confirmed the 18 players he’ll be taking to London later this month. The Brazil coach whittled down his original preliminary squad from 52 names to 35 before making the final cut today. As well as the 18, four players are on standby: Marquinhos (Corinthians), Giuliano (Dnipro), Gabriel (AC Milan) and Casemiro (São Paulo). The three over 23 players are: Thiago Silva (AC Milan), Marcelo (Real Madrid) and Hulk (Porto).
Brazil are one of the seeded teams for this year’s London Olympics and will play Great Britain in a friendly before the event kicks off. The South Americans start their campaign on 26th July in Cardiff. Mano Menezes’ team are in Group C and will then play at Manchester United’s Old Trafford 29th and two days later at Newcastle’s St James Park.
Goalkeepers: Neto (Fiorentina), Rafael Cabral (Santos),
Wingbacks: Danilo (Porto), Rafael (Manchester United), Alex Sandro (Porto), Marcelo (Real Madrid)
Centrebacks: Thiago Silva (AC Milan), Bruno Uvini (São Paulo), Juan (Inter Milan)
Midfielders: Sandro Ranieri (Tottenham), Rômulo (Spartak Moscow), Lucas Moura (São Paulo), Oscar (Internacional), Paulo Henrique Ganso (Santos)
Forwards: Alexandre Pato (Milan), Neymar (Santos), Leandro Damião (Internacional), Hulk (Porto)

Well done.. consequences will be same ..we are gonna loose again badly.. a good coach complies all d requirement of fans & wins trophies at d same time.. bt we get none of these.. no kaka?may be ronaldinho is out of age bt u dnt need an experienced playmaker like kaka at all? & no adriano(barca)?? d fact is dat we are brazil maniac ..& whatever d coaches do we dnt care.. we mere care for our stars… bt we are in need öf an experienced coach.. I didn`t like dunga`s squad too much… bt I was wrong..

why no kaka… no daniel alves…. no adriano….. coach shall be like luis philip scholari or vincente del bosque.. but menze is not so experienced coach…. ok if this is for world cup 2014 then brasil will lose it reputation in international seen soon…. at present in FIFA rankings brazil is out of first 10 nimber… what is it future ???????
