Copa do Brasil semi-final places are decided

On Wednesday, Vasco, Botafogo and Sport Recife joined Corinthians in the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil.

Vasco easily overcame minnows Corinthians AL 3×1 in Maceio. Botafogo saw off Atlético Mineiro 2×0. But the surprise of the night came in Recife where Sport (photo) put paid to Internacional 3×1. See the goals.

In the semis, Botafogo will take on Corinthians and Vasco face Sport. The ties will be played on the 21st and 28th May.
