They call him flipper

Brazil coach Dunga announced today (4th June) that São Paulo’s acrobatic midfielder, Hernanes, had been called up to replace AC Milan’s, Kaká.

Kaka will be allowed to recover fully from recent knee surgery but will now miss Brazil’s friendly vs Venezuela and the World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Argentina.

This is Hernanes’ third call up by Brazil. The 23 year-old turned out in the recent friendlies against the Republic of Ireland and Sweden, but this is his first crack at the qualifiers.
