Greece braces itself for Diogo

Portuguesa have announced that their gifted number 7 has joined Greece’s Olympiakos for around 10 million euros.

The forward has signed a four-year deal with the club, which will earn him approximately 1.5 million euros per season. Lokomotiv Moscow launched a late bid of 12 million euros but the player was adamant he was going to Greece.

Diogo Luis Santo played only 102 games for Portuguesa in just over two years as a professional. He scored six goals in this season’s Brasileiro Série A.
