Dynamo Kiev offer €7million for Dagoberto

Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev are set to move for São Paulo front man, Dagoberto.

The 25–year-old got off to a slow start at São Paulo but last season finally began to show glimpses of his best form after netting 6 in the Brasileiro in the club’s successful league campaign.

With Borges, Washington and André Lima on their books, the Morumbi club could be tempted by the offer, which would represent a threefold return on the fee they paid to Atlético Paranaense in 2007. São Paulo, though, are believed to be holding out for a figure closer to €10 million.

At just 1.73m (5ft 8in) Dagoberto is not the biggest of strikers. He also has a deserved reputation for being a bit of a diver.

What intrigues me is that despite the thousands of articles written about kaká recently, I’ve learnt absolutely nothing new about him -apart from the fact that he may or may not be earning around £20 million (including sponsorship) in Italy. Perhaps I will do something on the player when the dust settles and more information on the transfer deal comes out.
