Real Zaragoza go for Guilherme

Spain’s Real Zaragoza have stepped in to try to take Cruzeiro’s Guilherme from under the noses of Dynamo Kiev.

Earlier this week, the 20-year-old forward was close to signing for the Ukraine side in a deal that would have involved ex Palmeiras man, Kléber.

But on Wednesday evening, Zaragoza announced that they had agreed a fee for one of Brazil’s most-coveted players. The forward, though, has yet to agree personal terms but Cruzeiro seem keen to cash in on the forward.

Guilherme came up at Cruzeiro’s junior teams and scored 36 goals in 84 games for the first team – 18 of which came in last year’s Campeonato Brasileiro.
