Manchester United’s Anderson drops out of Brazil’s squad

After losing Luís Fabiano to injury, Brazil will now have to cope without midfielder Anderson for the upcoming friendly vs Italy.

The player injured himself on January 20th but was still called up by Dunga six days later. Today though, it was confirmed that Anderson will not be fit enough for the game against Italy on February 10th.

Dunga was also thwarted in his efforts to call up Amauri because Juventus refused to release the forward. The coach has already said that he will not be seeking replacements for either Luís Fabiano or Anderson.
