Kaká training in Porto Alegre

Injury has once again taken its toll on midfielder, Kaká. On Friday, the Brazil camp confirmed that the AC Milan man has not travelled to Ecuador for the World Cup qualifying game on Sunday. Instead Kaká has stayed in Porto Alegre in an attempt to be ready for Brazil’s match vs Peru next Wednesday. Kaká picked up a problem with his left foot almost two months ago that has seen him miss games for both Brazil and AC Milan.

Kaká’s absence should mean a place in the starting line-up for Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
