Defensive midfielder, Rodrigo Possebon, has signed a four-year contract with Santos. The Vila Belmiro side have acquired 35% of the 21-year-old’s economic rights – the rest are owned by an investment group. Possebon will be presented officially on Monday. Santos have already won the Campeonato Paulista and the Copa do Brasil this season. After fending off a €35 million bid from Chelsea for Neymar last week, Santos have now set their sights on the Campeonato Brasiliero.

He was playing very well and if it wasn’t for some great players at utd he would have got more games for the first team, I wonder if this is a strategic move so man utd can acquire a player from Santos in the future?
