Brazil's Philippe Coutinho and Giuliano

Later today, Brazil take on Iran in an international friendly in Abu Dhabi. Mano Menezes got off to a flier in his first game in charge against the USA and the coach is hoping for more of the same against a side ranked 57th in the world.

Milan based players Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Philippe Coutinho will form a potentially tantalizing three-pronged attack.

New call ups Atlético Paranaense keeper Neto, Fluminense rightback Mariano, and midfielders Elias of Corinthians, Werder Bremen’s Wesley and Internacional’s Giuliano, are expected to get a run out.

Brazil are without the Santos’ Paulo Henrique Ganso who is injured, and Neymar who was dropped after his involvement in the firing of coach Dorival Júnior.

The South Americans face Ukraine in four days time in Derby County’s Pride Park.
