According to reports in the Brazilian press, Chelsea are set to fork out £6.5 million for São Paulo forward, Lucas Piazon. The 17-year-old, who has yet to make his debut for the professionals at São Paulo, is currently on tour with Brazil’s U17s in Ecuador. The deal is set to be confirmed when he returns but Piazon will not move to Chelsea until he turns 18 in January 2012. It is believed that £5.2 million will go to São Paulo with the rest going to the player and his agent Giuliano Bertolucci.

Lucas Piazon is not to be confused with São Paulo’s other Lucas; Lucas Moura, who’ll make his debut for Brazil versus Scotland later this month
