Brazil x Argentina probable starting line-ups second leg 28 September 2011
Mano Menezes has announced the squad to face Argentina in the second leg of the ‘Superclássico das Américas’ in the estádio Mangueirão in Belém. The sides drew 0-0 in the first game in Cordoba earlier this month. As with the Cordoba clash, Menezes has picked only Brazil-based players. Injuries to forwards Leandro Damião and Alexandre Pato have opened up the door to Borges who has scored 18 goals for Santos in the Brasileirão. Botafogo’s Elkeson, Diego Souza of Vasco, and Emerson from Coritiba are also given a chance.

Brazil squad in full:
Goalkeepers: Rafael (Santos), Jefferson (Botafogo)
wingbacks: Danilo (Santos), Mário Fernandes (Grêmio), Bruno Cortês (Botafogo),
Kleber (Internacional)
Centrebacks: Dedé (Vasco), Réver (Atlético-MG), Rhodolfo (São Paulo), Emerson (Coritiba)
Defensive midfielders: Casemiro (São Paulo), Paulinho (Corinthians), Ralf (Corinthians), Rômulo (Vasco)
Creative midfielders: Diego Souza (Vasco), Lucas Moura (São Paulo), Oscar (Internacional), Elkeson (Botafogo)
Forwards: Borges (Santos), Neymar (Santos), Ronaldinho Gaúcho (Flamengo),
Fred (Fluminense).
