Real Madrid midfielder Kaká has been recalled to Brazil’s national team for the friendlies against Iraq in Malmo, Sweden on 11th October and Japan in Breslávia, Poland five days later.
Kaká has not appeared in a Brazil shirt since June 2010 when the seleção went out to Holland in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in South Africa. However, kaká was called up by Mano Menezes for the matches versus Gabon and Egypt at the end of last year but withdrew through injury.
The new face in the squad is centreback Leandro Castán who recently left Corinthians for Roma.
Goalkeepers: Diego Alves, Jéfferson, Victor
Wingbacks: Daniel Alves, Adriano, Alex Sandro, Marcelo
Centrebacks: David Luiz, Dedé, Leandro Castán, Thiago Silva
Defensive midfielders: Fernando, Paulinho, Ramires, Sandro Ranieri
Creative midfielders: Kaká, Giuliano, Oscar, Thiago Neves
Forwards: Hulk, Leandro Damião, Lucas, Neymar

Entry filed under: Brazil squad. Tags: , .

OK, let’s see what Kaka has got to offer the pathetic midfield that Mano keeps fooling around with, but never getting right.

The team definitely needs someone with experience who can lead them next year and in 2014.

Mano seems to have settled on his defensemen (Marcelo, Dani Alves, Luiz, and Thiago Silva, without really trying many others. No Dante, Rafinha (both with Bayern), nor the Atletico pair, nor Weligton, nor anyone playing in France, like Hilton).

He also seems to have settled on his strikers (Neymar, Hulk, Damiao, and perhaps Jonas or Pato).

But he still has no goal keeper (my god, what an important position), nor a midfield that can work together to set the table. Finally, Ramires gets another chance, but what about Willian or Fernando, or Nene from PSG, or Diego from Wolfsburg, or even Bastos from Lyon. He’s called very few if any Brazilans from Germany or France. And why Sandro suddenly over Fernandinho or Lucas Leiva at the back of the midfield? And what happened to Hernanes? I like the way Oscar is developing more than what I’ve seen of Ganso, so kudos there, but they still lack a veteran leader like Nene or Kaka. Mano doesn’t seem to have a clue about the midfield, neither who to choose nor who to play together.

After a long time,Kaka come back & he shows his excellency in both his nation team Brazil & his club Real Madrid.Due to some problem with Murinho,he can’t get his proper place in Real madrid.Again with the entrance of Modric it is now difficult for him to get proper place. But when he gets chances ,he make the best use of this chance.
