Kaká joins Oscar, Ramires, David Luiz and Sandro Ranieri in Brazil squad for Iraq and Japan friendlies in October 2012
Real Madrid midfielder Kaká has been recalled to Brazil’s national team for the friendlies against Iraq in Malmo, Sweden on 11th October and Japan in Breslávia, Poland five days later.
Kaká has not appeared in a Brazil shirt since June 2010 when the seleção went out to Holland in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in South Africa. However, kaká was called up by Mano Menezes for the matches versus Gabon and Egypt at the end of last year but withdrew through injury.
The new face in the squad is centreback Leandro Castán who recently left Corinthians for Roma.
