Manchester United face competition from Real Madrid, Udinese and São Paulo for the signature of 17-year-old Bruno Gomes. United have first pick on the forward who has struck 28 goals for feeder club Desportivo Brasil at Under-17 level. But after showing a lot of early interest in the teenager, the Premier League club are now apparently undecided on whether to invest in the player or not.
São Paulo are the latest side to become involved and it was rumoured that the striker was close to joining Lucas Evangelista (another Desportivo/United product) at the Morumbi last week.
Gomes has always maintained his first choice is United. But with the player approaching his 18th birthday, those involved in his career – in particular his father – are pushing to get a lucrative deal for Gomes.  Manchester United, however, have invested heavily in the player’s development and remain adamant they won’t be rushed in to making a decision.

although this boy is excellent this is the wrong time for united to be signing strikers, can he really push RVP, Rooney, Wellbeck and even Hernandez out of a place
