Brazil vs Paraguay June 2009: probable starting line-up

Brazil take on Paraguay in the estádio Arruda in Recife on Wednesday and goalkeeper Júlio César is looking for revenge. Brazil’s shot-stopper has only been beaten twice whilst representing his country and both games were against Paraguay. The first defeat came in 2004 in the Copa America when they went down 2-1. In June last year, Brazil lost a 2-0 in the World Cup qualifiers.
Wednesday’s game is a top of the table clash with both teams on 24 points but Brazil have the better goal difference.
Dunga’s side are expected to start with ten of the players that beat Uruguay 4-0 last Saturday. The only change is up front where Alexandre Pato or Nilmar will come in for the suspended Luís Fabiano.
Probable line-up: Júlio César, Daniel Alves, Juan, Lúcio, Kleber, Gilberto Silva, Felipe Melo, Elano, Kaká, Robinho, Alexandre Pato or Nilmar

I really hope Dunga will give Andre Santos a debut to replace Kleber in this match and Ramires for Gilberto Silva.

it would be good but i can’t see Dunga giving André Santos a run out. jzlm11 – you’re not the only one who is baffled by the inclusion of Kléber in the starting line-up

Brasil gave up an early goal then they turned it on Go Brasil. My wife and I listened to the match on Globo Radio do Brasil. Check out my blog Bobby Gee http://bobbygee.wordpress.com/
