Kaká leaves footprint in Maracanã’s Walk of Fame

AC Milan midfielder and Brazil international, Kaká, has added his footprint to the estádio Maracanã’s Walk of Fame.

The player becomes the 97th athlete to feature in the exhibition and has been placed next to Brazil legends, Zico and Júnior, and Marta who is currently the world’s top female footballer.

At 26, Kaká is the youngest male football player to receive the honour – though Marta took her place last year aged 21.

Surprisingly, Kaká has scored just three goals in the stadium: two for Brazil vs Ecuador and one against Flamengo for São Paulo in 2002.

Entry filed under: Kaká. Tags: , , , .
