According to Globoesporte, 15-year-old William Oliveira Souza, nicknamed William McLaren because of his pace, could be on his way to Liverpool. The teenage midfielder was spotted after taking part in the Pnera – an online competition that allows young players to submit videos of themselves and the winner gets a trial at a top Brazilian club. McLaren says he’s been offered a three-year deal by the Merseysiders but that other sides had taken a look at him. “A representative from Liverpool watched me play. He liked me and offered me a contract. Other clubs like Manchester, Chelsea and Arsenal were also interested” said the youngster who is trying to get a European passport. McLaren is expected to travel to England this weekend.

don’t think any young brazilian talent could flourish at liverpool, really not the club to join, this seems like a wild story though, also i don’t believe clubs should be ‘eyeing’ players of this age until they’ve at least broke through into a senior team in Brasil
